Weight loss and metabolism

I recently have lost 70 pounds and am very happy where I am at but still have about 15 I want to lose. I feel like my metabolism is very slow compared to what’s normal and was wondering if anyone has tried things to speed theirs up?

Hey! I used to have a similar mindset after losing 50lbs and thinking that metabolism was one of the main factors. In reality people’s metabolism doesn’t vary that much enough to want to “speed it up” to lose those last 15lbs. What worked for me was incorporating 10-12k steps every day and making sure I was burning more calories then I was consuming. After about 3 months of this I was able to cut down to my ideal weight and maintain it!
