How I Quit Nicotine

I finally gave up nicotine after using it through my college years plus past them. I was a total fein for vapes, zyns, you name it. It got so bad I was the kind to have it under my pillow at night and start crashing if it disappeared. Then I moved to cigarettes. The switch was intentional as I hated the smell of them but liked the buzz. I stopped all vaping and zyns and strictly allowed myself a cigarette when I felt the cravings roll in (and yes I tried to use the quitting nicotine mints/pouches previously which didn’t work). I hated the smell on my hair and clothes and I definitely didn’t want it to linger in my house or around my cat so eventually I just stopped smoking all together. Now i’m not saying to switch to cigarettes if you vape in order to quit, but it worked for me. I will say if friends have cigs around me I do smoke one or two but I no longer own them and would consider “quitting” to be pretty successful.
